Classroom Environment
Our program delights in the beauty of God's creation. We spend lots of time outside in our garden, nature trail, and natural playground. Nature reflects its Creator, and helps us to focus on Him and His design for us. More time outdoors has also been linked to improved attention, lower stress, better mood, and even increased empathy and cooperation.
We believe that children learn best through play. It is then our job to provide them with a safe, stimulating, and challenging environment in which they can learn through their natural curiosity.
Each classroom has a lead teacher with a Degree or a Child Development Associate (CDA) in Early Childhood Education as well as a trained assistant. Each member of the staff completes at least 16 hours of professional development classes each year.
About the Caregivers
The Early Learning Center's staff is trained in CPR, First Aid, and SIDS/SBS Prevention. Our staff completes a minimum of 16 clock hours of professional development per year. Each member of the staff is passionate about the education of children, and works hard to make our students comfortable - yet appropriately challenged - and prepared to learn.
Strengthening families and children through play-based learning in an environment where Christ is at the center.
